I am passionate about developing the culture and providing the tools to employees at all levels to create a successful and sustainable safety program.Over the years, I have been directly involved in, or performed, audits, inspections, and surveys, including ISO, OSHA, Joint Commission, DNV, CARF, DEC, HUD, local codes, general liability, DOH, CMS validation, and CAP.I am also authorized by OSHA to instruct 10 and 30-hour outreach training for General Industry and am qualified in NY Industrial Code Rule 59 and 60. In addition, I am a former ISO 9001:2008 auditor and NY State Certified Code Enforcement Official (Cert. # 0704-7638B).After serving six years of active duty in the US Navy, I entered the Navy Reserves. My career included working with A-6 Intruders to serving in the medical field, much of that time with the United States Marine Corps. I was also honored to respond to the World Trade Center as part of the disaster recovery efforts after 9/11.I retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer, Hospital Corpsman – HMCM(FMF/AW) and am proud of my service. I truly am thankful I was able to serve with so many fine Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Soldiers, and Coast Guardsmen.
